FOR THE GROUP SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE (GSR)

If you would like your monthly report or announcements or needs to be entered into the Area Service Committee secretary minutes (the official records) then you will need to submit your statement in writing.

You can download this GSR Report form and fill it out on your computer then either print it and bring to the next Area meeting or email it to the ASC secretary at [email protected]

If you have a proposal you would like the entire Area Service committee to consider, for either local events or ideas or even for regional or global, it starts by downloading this Group Proposal form and then filling it out on your computer then either print it and bring to the next Area meeting or email it to the ASC secretary at [email protected]

FOR SUBCOMMITTEE MEMBERS

Please use this Subcommittee Report form as a summary of your report so it can be added to the Secretary’s minutes. Unless a written summary is submitted to the Secretary your report for that month will not make it into the minutes. You can either fill it out on your computer and print to being with you or email it to the secretary at [email protected]

If your subcommittee would like to make a proposal specific for your subcommittee’s needs then use this Subcommittee Proposal form, download, fill out and print or email back. Please remember that if you have an idea for something beyond the scope of your subcommittee then it should properly go through your GSR.

FOR GSR and SUBCOMMITTEE MONEY REQUESTS

If you have a need for additional funding beyond your budget (if you have one), then please use this Out of Budget Disbursement form. Remember the more time Area is advised of the need, the better Area can allocate funds to assist. Please download the form, fill it out and either print and bring with you to the next ASC meeting or email to the ASC secretary at [email protected] .

Here are some tips to help you understand how to get started:

Simply find a meeting on our meeting directory page.

No need to make an appointment, but maybe show up a bit early, and have a seat anywhere you like.

Have a listen, share, or don’t share.

Mostly just learn you are not alone.

None of us could do this alone, we do this together.

For us drugs had become a major problem.

To help each other stay clean, we recovering addicts meet regularly.

No initiation fees or promises are required.

You are already a member if you have the desire to stop using.

If you want to do something about your problem:

We want to know how we can help.

We all thought we were powerless to do anything about our addiction.

Experience has shown us, if we keep coming to meetings regularly, we stay clean.
